ST. MORITZ - May 2015: Badrutt’s Palace Hotel is the ideal summer escape destination for families, with plenty to keep children and adults busy as well as spending quality time together. The magical Swiss Alpine air combined with the luxury hotel’s extensive facilities and the friendliest of staff, make the whole family feel most welcome. They will leave restored and full of wonderful memories.

Families looking for fun-packed activities to keep the little ones and teenagers happy need look no further. Summer couldn’t be better than in Badrutt’s Palace Hotel, the traditional luxury Grande Dame hotel, where summers packed with sailing, walking, tennis, swimming, picnics and trails have been the norm for many generations. Today a variety of sports and the mountains are an exciting challenge for the very active, while the sunshine, clear air and restorative treatments appeal to those who need a break and an escape from the daily routines.

From the moment they wake up kids can take part in the daily program offered at the "Kids’ Club Palazzino", get special tips from the Kids’ Concierge, get involved in cookery and cocktails plus swimming, tennis, dance and kids yoga, as well as special menus with them in mind. Then winding down in the evening they can relax in their comfy beds with the movie channels which have a great choice for children at the flick of a button.

A special kids-focused package is available to book for the whole family. With "Short in Size. Big in Ideas" children will be a great hit! They can watch the chefs at work when the family sits down to the Chef’s Table dinner, or choose their own toppings on a pizza in "Chesa Veglia" and they can even have fun creating a kids’ cocktail in the "Renaissance Bar".

One Very Important Kid who is short in size and big in ideas is Anna, Junior GM. During the winter season 2014/15 Anna was successful in becoming Junior General Manager assisting Hans Wiedemann, Managing Director & Delegate of the Board, to see the world of Badrutt’s Palace Hotel through the eyes of the children who visit. Picked by a selected jury of hotel experts out of over 70 applicants from all over the world, Anna shone out as the one for the job. Her assignments included testing out the kids’ cocktails ,the "Kids’ Club Palazzino", the kids’ Concierge and hosting the Junior GM Pyjama Party in the legendary "King’s Club‹"

Anna commented with a glint in her eye, “the beds are very, very comfy; it’s great fun to sit on the ledge of the rock in the swimming pool and dangle your feet in the water, and the kids’ cocktail is yummy (after I made a few improvements to it).” Anna is very frank, honest and open, so her views can be trusted.

For a whole week of family fun there is the "Family Summer Indulgence" package. It offers carte blanche to create many adventures and wonderful memories together – taking a horse-drawn carriage to the beautiful Fex valley, an indoor or outdoor sports activity with a personal trainer and a relaxed picnic in the beautiful Engadin Alps. The "Kids’ Club Palazzino" also offers professional childcare for three to twelve year olds throughout the week.

In addition, families can enjoy extra events together such as the "Via Serlas Summerfest" on August 2nd, along the whole street outside the hotel - a high point of summer sun and fun with music, plenty of delicious treats to eat and drink and a carrousel for the little ones, or the "Musikfestival Badrutt’s Palace" on August 28th and 29th, 2015 where "Sinfonia Amadei" Orchestra are performing Mozart’s symphonies in the Embassy Ballroom. Kids will be fascinated by the orchestra playing on historical instruments.
