Location
Located on the Sunshine Coast of BC, 15 minute drive from Sechelt. Access
By car:From Vancouver, drive to Horseshoe Bay and board ferry for Langdale (40 minute sailing). After disembarking, travel on Highway 101 towards Sechelt. The Resort is approximately a 45-minute drive from the Langdale ferry terminal. From Vancouver Island, take Comox ferry to Powell River. In Powell River, board ferry from Saltery Bay to Earls Cove on Sunshine Coast. Drive south along highway 101 towards Sechelt for approximately 40 minutes.
By plane:
Floatplane from Vancouver harbour (20 minute flight) or from Vancouver International Airport (35 minutes)
Seasonal Information
The Resort is open year round, seven days a week. The Tenthouse Suites are available year round, weather dependant.Minimum Stay
During the holiday periods, a two-night minimum stay is required.Accommodation
The resort can accommodate a maximum of 140 guests in a variety of accommodations:- 13 tenthouse suites with ensuite bathrooms, soaker tubs and private balconies suspended along 1500’ boardwalk. 14 oceanview/poolview rooms in the main lodge.
- 11 cabins, featuring oceanfront or woodland views. A variety of one, two, and three bedroom cabins is available.

The Resort features an ocean side restaurant, a lounge, meeting room, spa treatment facilities, recreation room, heated pool, sun decks, and barbeque pit.Meeting space
The Resort offers a 900 square foot meeting room, able to accommodate up to 80 people. Projectors and plasma screens are available for presentations.Groups of 25 and larger staying for two nights or more are offered the “Keys to the Inn”. These groups are given exclusive use of the resort, including the rooms, the restaurant, kayak rentals, spa, and meeting room.

The Rapids of Skookumchuk Narrows:
Watch 200 billion gallons of water flow through the Skookumchuck Narrows on a three-metre tide change. The Skookumchuk (meaning powerful water) connects Sechelt Inlet to Jervis Inlet, an hour’s drive north of Rockwater Resort. Rockwater Secret Cove Resort is a unique oceanfront hideaway on British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast. Nigel Harrison:
Your guide for mountain bike adventures at Rockwater Secret Cove Resort, Nigel has been working in the adventure sports industry for over 15 years. An active mountaineer, rock climber and sailor, he has climbed on six continents in locations as diverse as Australia and Greenland. Having crossed the Atlantic more than once in a small boat, he is a professional sailor and navigator. As a mountain guide, ski instructor and bike leader, he loves working with people and can’t wait to get out and see more of beautiful B.C. Nigel is very active, when he is not guiding an adventure he can often be seen playing Frisbee with his dog. Chelsea Ruben:
Chelsea has been around boats all her life and loves sharing her passion for sailing and the sea with others. She comes to Rockwater Secret Cove Resort fresh from a transatlantic adventure in a thirty foot Chinese junk. As well as being a qualified skipper Chelsea has a masters degree in marine science and can answer any of your queries about local sea life. If she’s not out playing on Caledonia II Chelsea is most likely rock climbing, skiing, mountain biking or SCUBA diving.Media contact:
